          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">This thesis fully utilizes the Lambert W function to stability analysis and control of linear time-delay systems. First of all, a crucial property of this function is proven. Thanks to this property, extreme point results and boundary implications can be elucidated for robust stability of simultaneously triangularizable linear time-delay systems. As a stabilization technique, a new pole placement method is proposed using this function and a control scheme is organized combining with decoupling control. Finally, additional dynamics induced by some model transformations is analyzed by this function.</datacite:description>
