Function Theoretic Movement of a Deforming Surface in a Space 米谷, 文男 MAITANI, Fumio open access Riemann surfaces Beltrami differentials quasiconformal mappings variational formulas In this paper we are concerned with the change of function-theoretic quantities as a surface deforms in a space. A surface in the Euclidian space is regarded as a Riemann surface by the isothermal coordinate. Hence the movement of the surface in the space shall bring a change of conformal structure. So our aim is to represent variational formulas for some function-theoretic quantities in terms of displacement of the surface.
