| 内容記述 | The development of sustainable materials derived from biorenewable resources has been focused owing to rising environmental awareness, depletion of petroleum resources, and health concerns. Lignin is the second most abundant biopolymer next to cellulose, and it is being seriously focused on the effective reuse of lignin waste from kraft processes. Therefore, trials of using it as a filler component in rubbery composites have also been carried out extensively. However, the lignin from the waste was not so satisfied for reinforcement of the rubber materials due to the difficulty of blending lignin with rubbers. In this thesis, high performance eco-friendly lignin filled natural rubber biocomposites were successfully prepared by using an effective soft processing method for sodium lignosulfonate and natural rubber latex for the first time as far as I know. The main factor to get the high performance nanocomposites was found to be a formation of network-like structure of lignin around natural rubber phases in the biphasic structured nanocomposites, even when the high amount of lignin up to 40 parts per one hundred rubber by weight was mixed. In addition, the new lignin filled natural rubber bionanocomposites were found to become adequate models to revel the reinforcing effect of filler network, which has been one of the important questions for a long time in the field of rubber science and technology. Especially, a role of filler network on the strain-induced crystallization behaviour of the high performance lignin filled natural rubber bionanocomposites was characterized in detail by using quick time-resolved simultaneous wide-angle X-ray diffraction/tensile measurements. The contents of this thesis will be of use for developments of not only rubber materials science but also eco-friendly biomass technology. | |||||||||
