内容記述 This research is conducted on the mechanical properties and initial fracture behavior of woven fabric reinforced composites. Several kinds of woven fabrics in different structures, such as plain woven fabric, twill woven fabric, multi-axial knit fabric, were used as reinforcement in this study. In chapter 2, glass woven cloth reinforced composite was fabricated by hand lay-up molding method. Tensile test was carried out on specimens cut in 6 degrees. After that the tensile property was discussed and a basic FEM model was built according to the geometric parameters. On the basis of this work, several effecting factors of interface were put forward and the following researches were conducted. In chapter 3, a typical thermoplastic resin, polyamide 6 (PA6) was used as matrix and carbon twill cloth as reinforcement to fabricate CF/PA6 by hot compression molding. Their failure behaviors and mechanical properties were investigated. In chapter 4, investigation on the initial fracture behavior was carried out on two kinds of roving glass woven fabric reinforced composites manufactured by the hand lay-up method. Two kinds of roving glass woven fabrics of different FAW (Fabric Area Weight) were adopted in this study. A model, of which the intersection part was improved was built on the consideration of the observation results. By combining the experimental results and simulation analyses, the initial behavior of fracture progression in glass-carbon hybrid composite materials are discussed and predicted. In chapter 5, carbon/glass intra-hybrid woven fabric as reinforcement and vinyl ester resin as matrix, CF/GF composite was manufactured through hand lay-up method. Then, the investigation on the mechanical property and initial fracture behavior was carried out. Initial fracture stress was the main factor of initial damage which discussed with AE characteristics during mechanical test. Simulation by software Marc was carried out to analyze the initial fracture behavior. In chapter 6, multi-axial warp knitted fabrics were adopted as reinforcement and the initial fracture behavior was investigated and analyzed. At last, a summary of the whole thesis was presented in Chapter 7.
